The words of Jesus in Matt. 9:7, ‘the harvests are plentiful but the laborers are few have never been urgent as it is in our world today. These are exciting days in the history of the church of Jesus Christ. People are coming to Christ in record numbers around the country. CUEED is amazed at the rapid advance of the gospel in places where the message of Christ has never penetrated or where it was only scarcely known. Clearly the wind of the Holy Spirit is sweeping our country in post conflict epoch in an unprecedented manner. CUEED wants to capitalize on these unprecedented opportunities to fulfill the command of Christ to take the gospel to every person. Against this background CUEED has established an evangelism program to mobilize, train and to send missionaries to the unreached people groups to empower local churches in communities where we work.

CUEED will strengthen evangelism and spiritual growth in gospel proclamation of our Lord Jesus Christ. The overall goal of CUEED evangelism and spiritual growth is to impact the local communities where it works. To realize this goal, CUEED undertake education and capacity enhancement. This involves Discipleship and training of evangelists, lay readers, deacons and pastors for evangelistic work, provision of quality holistic training of youth from different churches to strengthen their participation in church development.
Other interventions include procuring church musical instruments to promote local evangelistic activities through organized village to village evangelistic outreaches/crusades with the aim of spreading the gospel and promotion of the planting of churches both in urban and rural areas by strengthening urban and rural outreach programs.
To successfully implement this program CUEED is appealing to your organization to partner with us and to help us source for evangelistic materials that includes Holy Bibles, Christian books, evangelistic tracts and raise funds to facilitate our activities.
CUEED has established evangelistic departments that coordinate activities of mission teams working in the un-reached areas that include urban and rural parts of the country that is predominantly Muslim. The social ministries’ projects will continue acting as entry points for evangelism as well as aid in the improvement of livelihoods of target among communities. Mass evangelism, soul-winning strategies will be employed to evangelize and deepen spiritual growth in all regions of the country. The soul winning teams is established, equipped and facilitated to evangelize.
Time and again, the Department of Evangelism intends to strengthen the church by coming together to plan and promote strategy of CUEED and helping bring growth to the spiritual life of the entire Church in South Sudan and to those lost in sin and the needy in our midst. Strengthening evangelistic activities will then help the local communities and especially those who have never heard about Christ to enjoy Christian teachings, thereby becoming more involved in God’s work. Our main prayer is that in 2021, almost all the regions of South Sudan will have strong and purposeful fellowships.
