One way of improving incomes of households is by enabling people to engage in small business. Under this program CUEED will try to facilitate selected business people to engage in micro enterprises at the trading centers in the Counties. Lack of micro enterprise opportunities for the youth forces them to engage in criminal activities. Therefore micro enterprise development will keep the youth engaged in income generating activities and keep them away from engaging in war crime.
